Apple iPhone 12 with 5G, HomePod Mini and more: all announced today

This is the last Tweendom year of the iPhone before it reaches teens: Apple announced its four-model iPhone 12 Line on Tuesday the first major revision of the iPhone design since 2017 iPhone X.who introduced face unlock and better screen technology. This year they have a range of colors, more models and 5G wireless support across the product range. The iPhone 12 is thinner, smaller and lighter and features the new OLED Super Retina XDR display with a pixel density of 460 ppi and Dolby Vision HDR support. It also has a new protective Ceramic Shield layer on the screen. It uses the A14 Bionic, the same chip as in the new iPad Air with improved AI processing. It of course has a new camera, a dual setup with an ultrawide camera f2.4 and a night mode f1.6 which is available for all cameras and night time lapse. It starts at $ 799 in the US, £ 799 in the UK, and AU $ 1,349 in Australia.

Both the 6.1-inch Pro and the 6.7-inch Pro Max get high-quality materials and three cameras as well as lidar for depth mapping, AR and autofocus in poor lighting conditions. The Pro Max has a new sensor in its third telephoto camera with sensor-shift image stabilization, which is popular with regular cameras. It also has a new format, Apple ProRaw, which synthesizes computer photography and applies processing as a parameter so you can change adjustments like sharpness afterwards. 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR can be recorded for videos. The Pro starts at $ 999 (£ 999, AU $ 1,699) and the Pro Max starts at $ 1,099 (£ 1,099, AU $ 1,849).
