Trump allies Sidney Powell and Lin Wood are calling on Georgians to boycott the Senate runoff election

Sidney Powell, a former Trump campaign attorney, led a rally in a northern Atlanta suburb where she admonished hundreds of President’s supporters not to vote in the Senate runoffs, also because she said the state’s voting machines were untrustworthy.
“I encourage all Georgians to make it known that if you are unsure of your vote, you will not vote at all,” Powell said. “There should be no drain. Certainly not on Dominion machines. “
Powell falsely claimed that machines manufactured by Dominion Voting Systems were tampered with to weight Biden’s votes more heavily than Trump’s, that a hand count was a sham, and that state and local election officials destroyed ballot papers and other evidence of fraud. She has provided no evidence to support her claims.
Lin Wood, another Trump ally who chaired the event on Wednesday, made similar claims, stating, “We’re not going to vote on your damn machines from China. We’re going to vote on machines made in the USA! “
Wood targeted virtually every Republican head of state in Georgia, including Loeffler, Perdue, Governor Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and State Party chairman David Shafer, although some of them stood by Trump and repeated his false claims of fraud.
“If they don’t fight for Donald Trump, including Loeffler and Perdue, send them all home!” Wood called to the crowd. “You are a criminal!”
Powell insisted that Georgia and other states’ results had been changed, which affected the races up and down the ballot, although hand-checking all ballots completed last month found it impossible. She proposed an election conducted entirely with paper votes “that are signed and have a thumbprint,” which would violate Georgia’s constitutional requirement for a secret ballot.
