Emmanuel Acho will host “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose Special,” replacing Chris Harrison

Acho, the host of the YouTube series “Inconvenient Conversations with a Black Man” announced on Saturday that he would be hosting the one-hour special for the 25th season.

“I accepted the rose and am honored to host the @bachelorabc After the Final Rose this year,” said Acho tweeted. “It was a pivotal season and this episode will be one of the most famous shows in history. Empathy is required and change is coming. See you then!”
Harrison announced on February 13th he “resigned” from the show for a “period” defend a front runner about the current season scrutinized for social media photos from their past.
Harrison he apologized After speaking out on behalf of Rachael Kirkconnell, a candidate who was reportedly photographed at an antebellum plantation fraternity ceremony in 2018.

It is unclear how long Harrison will stand aside.

This is the 25th season of ABC’s hugely popular reality dating franchise, and the first on ABC throw a black man, Matt James to star the show.

During the episode, Acho will “sit down with Bachelor Matt James to discuss his season, final decision and current location, as well as current affairs about the franchise,” ABC said in a press release.

The on-air personality and best-selling author will also speak to the last three women of the season: Kirkconnell, Michelle Young and Bri Springs.

The special episode will air on Monday, March 15th, immediately after the season finale of “The Bachelor”.
