Mass Effect’s Pinnacle Station DLC is lost forever due to data corruption

The Pinnacle Station, a training facility added to the first Mass effectis not displayed in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition along with over 40 other downloadable content. Game Informer Reports that the Pinnacle Station, which was created by Demiurge Studios for the first game, cannot be saved due to data corruption.

Legendary edition repackages the original trilogy and all previously released content with new features and a major graphical overhaul. Speak with Game InformerGame master Mac Walters said trying to save the DLC is an “emotional roller coaster ride” where you turn to Demiurge and try to get backups. The developer’s source code has been corrupted. The original code source code has also been notoriously lost, which prevented PlayStation 3 players from experiencing it when the game hit the platform.

Honestly, just because that’s supposed to be all the team has ever brought back together – all single-player content. And so it was heartbreaking to leave everything on the cutting room floor. ”

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be released on May 14th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
