Jeremy Bulloch, the actor who played Boba Fett in several “Star Wars” films, has died.
Jeremy’s death was announced on Thursday by Daniel Loganwho played the young Boba Fett in “Attack of The Clones”.
Jeremy played the legendary bounty hunter in the original Star Wars trilogy … he was the man under the famous body armor and helmet, but not the voice you hear in the movies.
As Star Wars movie fans may know, Jeremy also made a few cameos without his Boba Fett mask – he played Lieutenant Sheckil in “The Empire Strikes Back” and Captain Jeremoch Colton in “Revenge of the Sith”.
The timing is interesting – there has been a resurgence in Boba Fett’s popularity since discussions arose about him being brought on board on The Mandalorian series and even rumors of a spin-off series, the Boba Fett surrounds, are in the works.
As the original trilogy performer, Jeremy was loved by Star Wars fans around the world. He signed autographs and took photos of hundreds of tour stops and conventions.
Jeremy was born and raised in the UK. He starred in BBC soap operas, “James Bond” movies and TV shows before getting his famous role on “Star Wars”.
He lived in London after his retirement and is survived by his wife. Maureenand her 3 sons. Jeremy was 75 years old.
