Veterans Day 2020: Food offers for military personnel

Our nation is Veterans deserve our respect and admiration for the sacrifices they have made for this country.

But of course a free meal doesn’t hurt either.

As a thank you for those who have served in ours armed forces – and who’s likely gone through a few sub-par meals at the exhibition hall – veterans and service members on active duty across America can enjoy free (or discounted) meals and treats at dozen of chains.

Read on to find out more about some of this year’s Veterans Day promotions, and check with your favorite chains or local restaurants for more deals in your area. As always, don’t forget to thank the brave military who fought for our country or are currently serving in the armed forces.

Applebee’s

Participate Applebee’s Restaurants will offer free meals with proof of service to veterans and active service members on November 11th. The offers and menu options vary depending on the location. Applebee’s recommends confirming this with your local restaurant.

Bob Evans

At the 11th of November Bob Evans offers veterans and active service members a choice of a free starter from a special menu of seven favorites. Offer is only valid for dinner and only for those with proof of military service.

Bonefish grill

Bonefish grill offers all military, veterans or first responders during a visit at any time a permanent “hero discount” of 10%. Valid ID or proof of service is required.

BJ’s restaurant and brewhouse

Dine-in customers BJ’s restaurant and brewhouse You can get a free meal worth up to $ 14.95 and a free Dr. Enjoy Pepper on presentation of a military ID.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Veterans or service members can get 10 free boneless wings and free fries with proof of service on November 11th. The offer applies to both food and take-away orders.

Carrabbas Italian grill

Carrabba offers all military, veterans or first responders during a visit at any time a permanent “hero discount” of 10%. Valid ID or proof of service is required.

chili

Dine-in customers chili can provide proof of military service for a free main course on November 11th – from a special menu. The restaurant chain recommends calling the local Chili’s to confirm attendance.

Cici’s pizza

Veterans and active service members can redeem this voucher Proof of service is required for a free adult buffet (excluding drinks) on November 11th.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel is offering a free slice of their Coca-Cola double chocolate fudge cake to all veterans on November 11th when they dine anywhere in the US

Denny’s

The chain offers free of charge Build your own Grand Slam Breakfast for all active and inactive military personnel with ID or proof of service. The offer is valid for dine-in customers at participating locations and only from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Dunkin ‘

Dunkin ‘ offers any active military or veteran a free donut of choice. The company also encourages fans to send gift cards to veterans of our nation through the Dunkin ‘Coffee Break program to offer a “sweet thank you to the brave men and women who help keep America going.”

Famous Dave’s

Military personnel can cash in a free-pulled pork sandwich plus one side (up to a) Worth 7.49 USD) on November 11th, regardless of whether you eat in a restaurant, order to take away or order online (with the code VETERAN). A valid proof of service is required.

The Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin ‘Onion and a selection of cola drinks to all veterans and active military personnel on November 11th.

All US locations of Romanos Macaroni Grill offer free order for mum’s ricotta meatballs and spaghetti to all active military or veterans who present a valid military ID or proof of service on November 11, but not upon delivery.

Wendy’s

Veterans or active military personnel who present a valid military ID at participating restaurants will receive a free small breakfast combination between 6:30 am and 10:30 am, which is absolutely free. “Check your Wendy on site, as breakfast times can vary by location,” advises the chain.
